This is a transcription of a transcription by R.F. Ovenell of part of a list dated December 1879 of locations of various parts of the Ashmolean Museum collections on that date. It appears to have been written by John Obidiah Westwood, who was one of the Visitors of the Ashmolean Museum (for more information about his other roles, please see Key Players link on menu to the left).
