Biography Headmaster of Market Drayton Grammar School. This failed and he took up natural history. He was related to Parson James Woodforde [qv] the famous diarist. He is listed in the 1901 census as Francis C. Woodforde aged 54 born in Taunton, Somerset and living in Market Drayton, Shropshire as a 'Grammar School Head Master'. He volunteered in the Department of Entymology at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History around the 1920s [see OUMNH, Annual Reports, 1928: 2 and 1929: 2] [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 07/03/2007]
