Biography Nothing is known of this owner except she was the daughter of John Hurleston Leche (there are a lot of men from same family with this name, it is not clear which was her father). In the 1901 census there is a Violet A. Hayes born in Carden, Cheshire [which is seat of the Leches] aged 39 currently living in Ashton or a Violet A. Hayes living in Frodsham [in Cheshire] aged 27 who was 'living on her own means' who might be the right person [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 29/01/2007]
