Biography Photographic studio and producer of optical and scientific instruments based in London. Negretti & Zambra, Hatton Garden & Cornhill, London. Henry Negretti (1817-1879) and Joseph Warren Zambra (d. 1877) were in partnership from 1850 and sold a variety of scientific instruments. In the late 1850s they had expanded their business to include the publication of stereo photographs and by 1879 they were one of Britain's largest photographic publishing companies.
