Biography Major ethnographic collector in early twentieth century in England. His main interest was in material from the Pacific Islands. In 1928 he opened his own museum, Cranmore Ethnographical Museum, in Chislehurst, Surrey. He wrote a number of journal papers and a book on Pacific fishhooks. Part of his collection came to us via his wife Irene Marguerite [qv] [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 06/12/2006]
