Henry Hippisley

Career Archaeologist / Politician

Biography Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant and High Sheriff of Berkshire, according to various sources he had an infamous life 'oppressing the locals and defrauding charities'. He was said to haunt Lambourn Place, his home in Berkshire. He was the brother of Charlotte Mary Hippisley [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 30/01/2007]
