Biography Nothing is known for sure of this collector but he must be the Duncan Woodroffe listed in the 1901 census aged 47 born in Peddington, Middlesex and living in Bournemouth who was a Church of England clergyman. He may be the same person as the Reverend Duncan Woodroffe listed as being curate at the parish church Grantham, Lincolnshire in the Leeds Mercury 18.2.1885, around the same time in the Bristol Mercury he is listed as Rector of Stroxton [Lincolnshire]. [19.2.1885] In the same journal of 5.10.1895 he is listed as moving to St Swithuns Bournemouth [Alison Petch [as part of 'The Other Within' project 2006-9] 07/03/2007]
