Educational groups can make pre-booked visits to the Transformations exhibition (and the rest of the Museum) on Tuesday - Friday mornings between 10.10 am and 12.00 noon, as well as during the afternoons. All groups must be pre-booked (01865 270927) and it is advisable to book well in advance. This service is free but we do encourage schools to make a donation towards service costs. Guided trails are offered during the morning only. These cost £1.00 per child (accompanying adults free), £2 per head for adult groups. If your students need to take photographs please ensure that you make a morning booking as photography is not permitted in the afternoons.
There is a teachers resource pack for the Transformations exhibition. The pack includes background information on the different themes explored in the exhibition, curriculum links for Keystages 1 and 2, and activity sheets for primary school children to use in the exhibition.
