Description:
A full length portrait of a man and woman standing either side of an ox with large, upward curving horns. The man, whose lack of bead decoration suggests that he is married, is wearing what appears to be a European glass bead necklace. The young woman is wearing numerous bead strings around her neck and waist, as well as a textile wrap. She has also decorated her face with a white band around her forehead. This may well be in a Köbora camp which Buxton visited in March and April of 1950 and 1951.
