Description:
A man knocking a tethering peg for a dark ox into the ground next to the shrine-mound of a homestead.
It is possible that this is the black ox sacrifice described by Evans-Pritchard as associated with the colwic (spirit of person killed by lightning) ceremony he witnessed in 1936.
This intervention by the divine is considered so dangerous to all associated with the colwic that sacrifice was made by all concerned, and a shrine erected with offerings.
