Description:
A group of men putting brick mixture (earth and fine grass) into shallow moulds before being left to sun-harden.
Although Evans-Pritchard noted that Aka huts were built using such mud bricks, these bricks seem too thin to be used to build walls up in the usual way, and may have been used as external tiles cemented together over a wooden structure.
The slightly curved nature of the bricks suggests their use in this way, following the curve of the wall.
