A woman sitting on the ground weaving a cylindrical piece of basketry, with a gourd of water for wetting the grass strips next to her. Another woman is preparing flour behind a tall reed screen nearby, and a group of children look on. The whole group are giggling at the attention being paid by Evans-Pritchard to their activities.
