Description:
A homestead grave in the village of Ali Bey, consisting of two notched stakes to which are tied a long peeled stick, and a sapling on which is hung pieces of slag. At the foot is a pot containing sacrifice, and also two groups of cooking stones, indicating two sacrifices have been made. The Seligmans carried out investigations among the Bari of Belinian and Ali Bey in Jan 1922, before moving south to the Torit area among the Lotuko-speaking people there.
