Description:
Cattle at a Mandari Köbora cattle camp near the Nile where permanent water and sufficient grazing was accessible during the dry season, standing at their tethering posts around a central hearth area that helped keep pests away at night.
The family's sleeping shelter made from bundles of tall river reeds is also situated close to this hearth.
