Description:
A portrait of a seated youth showing clear scarification lines of initiation on the forehead, with items of luggage nearby.
The location is probably near the landing stage on the Nile at Adok, where Evans-Pritchard landed in October of 1936 after having completed a survey of the Luo of Kenya.
