A website was established in 2013 to give access to the full collections associated with Walter Baldwin Spencer and Francis James Gillen and their fieldwork in Central Australia, principally with the Arrernte people. The website gies access to notebooks, films, audio recordings, illustrations and photographs. These resources are now dispersed throughout the world, access through this site is therefore the first time that these collections have been reassembled (virtually) in one place.

Many of the letters accessible from this website are from the Pitt Rivers Museum manuscript collections (see here for the PRM listing), others are held in Australian, and other, archives. Below is a list of those materials which are relevant to this project from other archives. Note that in many cases the site shows a scan of the letter or document and a transcription. Note that not all the letters in the series (for example, not all letters from Spencer to Howitt shown on the site) are listed below:
