Brass arm ornament, India

Amongst the Naga of northeast India, arm onaments were made from a rich variety of materials – hair, shell, metal, ivory, cane, seed, and bark. This armlet is made from spirally wound brass with large bugle-shaped terminals. The armlet has been decorated with punched designs in dots. It was worn above the elbow.
