In Negative - 'G-33' has been written along the left edge of the negative in blue-black ink [MS 19/08/2006]
Notes on print/mount - One contemporary contact print and one more modern contact print made from this negative are contained in A. J. Hopkinson's negative case with the negative. The contemporary print was made using Velox paper. It bears the signature 'A. J. Hopkinson' and the reference 'G.34' on the back in pencil [MS 19/08/2006]

Other Information - Description: [Extract from taped interview, Richard Blurton and Mrs Hopkinson] '34 - Gyantse - lama dances, with officiating lamas with musicians. The abbot of the monastery in the centre (he is seated at a higher level and he reads the prayers during the dancing). The dances were directed by the same monks who also trained the dancers - the discipline was extremely strict' [MS 12/08/2006]
