Other Information - Description: A. J. Hopkinson wrote in his journal for this day: “After I had been there 10 minutes I got the Rimpoche to allow Mlle Lafugie to draw her portrait. Then they asked us to photo a charming little nephew of Rimpoche’s outside. This ended by our going downstairs to photo the hole boiling in the Porch. They kept us waiting quite half an hour, putting on their glad rags, and then they did come down and to my surprise I found that the Incarnation had come all that way down too!” [ibid. p.6].
