Notes on print - 'Pede Yar 'brog mtsho', 'dPal sde' (?) (Pede) and 'gnod sbyin gangs bzang' (in pencil) is written in Richardson's hand and '616' (in red ink) and 'Velox' in an oval (in black ink) are stamped on the reverse of the print. [KC 7/9/2006]

Other Information - Location: Pede Dzong (dpal sde rdzong) is situated in Southern Tibet and on the main trade route from Sikkim to Lhasa. The dzong served as a fort and an administration centre for the district. [TS 18/7/2005]
