A blurred group portrait of a group of Mandari including women, children and youths, with a European man standing with them, his hands resting on the shoulders of a child.
He is almost certainly Godfrey Lienhardt, Buxton's Oxford supervisor, who met her in the Sudan during her fieldwork.
