A boy (identifed as Zakiri) with a white hat (possibly arab influence) and carrying a maize cob, throwing a spear-like stick towards a hoop target (out of frame), a game in which spear throwing skills were honed through competition amongst peers. A boy named Zakiri worked for Evans-Pritchard as a household servant during his fieldwork.
