"I have decorated my bag with badges, including three with an ancient Egyptian theme. I bought a 'wadjet eye' at the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities at Swansea University years ago and was given a scarab by a stallholder at Khan el-Khalili market, Cairo, in 2011. The Eye of Horus, or wadjet eye, was associated with health and regeneration, and used for protection. The scarab beetle sun god, Khepri, was associated with new life and rebirth."
