A distant view possibly of Chiri Sur and Tamba taken from an elevated vantage point in the surrounding mountains. A religious structure called a chorten can be seen on the left of the estate, close to a path on which many people are walking. There are mountains in the middle distance and in the background. An enclosed park can be seen at the rear of the manor house. Chapman was well known for his physical prowess and enjoyed climbing mountains to take images of the landscape from high vantage points, often using a telephoto lens

Notes on print/mount - 'F. S. Chapman' has been written in pencil in the bottom left hand corner of the contact print. '631' has been stamped onto the back of the print in red ink. The print has been made with Velox paper [MS 14/1/2005]
