Hospital staff members at Gyantse hospital. They are dressed in an assortment of clothes. The man on the left is wearing a Tibetan coat and a brocade and fur hat. The remainder of the men are dressed in western-style jackets and trousers. Two of them are wearing pill-box hats. The woman in the centre is wearing a striped apron, a Lhasa headress, hair ornaments and an amulet box around her neck.
