A group of women and children in front of the British hospital in Gyantse. The children may be waiting for vaccinations. The young girl in the centre is holding knitting needles in her hands. The child on the left is wearing a brocade and fur hat. The women have their hair braided. In an open porch on the right of the image, it is possible to see a table and chair where the doctor receives his patients. A Sikkimese orderly is standing inbetween the chair and table.
