Two women with wooden hooped headdresses typical of the Gyantse area standing hand in hand in front of a building in Gyantse. The headresses are decorated with pearls, corals and turquoises. They are also wearing beaded pearl and coral necklaces as well as amulet boxes (ga'u). The woman on the left is older and is carrying a staff. Both women are wearing striped aprons. There is a man against the wall in the background and there are prayer flags on the roof of the house.
