Other Information - Setting: The British built 11 staging bungalows between Gangtok and Gyantse. In February 1910, W. P. Rosemeyer, the telegraph officer whose photographs Bell collected, allowed the 13th Dalai Lama to shelter in the bungalow at Phari, en route to Yatung during his escape to India.
