In Negative - Unusually the number '13' has been scratched into this negative rather than written with ink [MS 4/8/2004]
Other Information - Setting: At the end of August Sir Charles Bell and Robert Kennedy went on a tour of the country north of Lhasa to Reting monastery. This photograph was taken on this trip. However, it may have been taken on September 1st as on this day Bell wrote in his diary that he and Kennedy rode out several miles along the Reting Tsangpo or Kyi Chu [Diary Vol. XII, pp. 55-57] [MS 17/9/2004]
