Description

A portrait of a Luo man (identified as Nikodemo Oluoch of Kogelo clan in Alego Location) with two wives either side of him, all wearing European clothing. The wife to the left is also wearing a Luo wrist bracelet (minyonge). Nikodemo himself also has ears pierced so as to take Luo ear ornaments. On the ground behind him is a colonial 'pith' helmet.
