Description

A homestead in Unyolo village in Alego Location. It many respects this is a typical Luo home, with a tall thick euphorbia fence surrounding it, several thatched granaries (dere) and a thatched hut partially seen at the right side with a woman wearing a wrist ring (minyonge) standing front of it. In front of the woman standing near the hut are mats on which some sort of grain is laid out in the sun, with a number of Luo domestic items nearby including a winnowing basket (odheru), a mortar (pany) and a pot.
