These people are listening to a musician playing a stringed instrument known as nyatiti. Whilst they are all wearing European clothing they have elements of Luo decoration, such as ostrich feather plumes (kondo udo) attached to their hats to mix styles. [Gilbert Oteyo 9/9/2004]
