Charles William Hobley
A seated portrait of a man adorned in split hippo teeth (lak rao) on the head, face and as armlets. He also wears a skin apron. He is described as a member of the Nyakach clan under Chief Kere, elsewhere photographed by Hobley, who also describes him as a 'kinf of buffoon', which may mean that he served a medicine man function at the court of Kere.
