Description

A formal portrait of four young men, possibly not all Luo. The man standing to the left, seen in other images, wears a Luo goat skin apron (pien nyadiel) as well as a bead neck ornament. The man standing to the right and the two sitting are wearing ornaments including headdresses not really identifiable with Luo custom in the period, and may well be from other areas of Nyanza, visiting Kisumu.
